Mage Lighting

You won't need speed of wind before strike...the mages nuke combo is lance+strike so I say get that asap:)

Playing a lightning mage I would personally say Ew to that. This is from mine and a 2 year lightning mage vet's experience

For a Hybrid pvm/pvp role go

1.Lance
2.Blessing
3.Strike
4.Speed
5.Chain

You will lack the spell speed of a pvp mage but you will last longer in pvm

If you want to play the support role I say

1.Blessing
2.Speed
3.Strike (aoe stun)
4.Enchant (yeah thats pushing it but if you play support and make it this far alone, gratz)

for the pvp role there is only 1 build

1.Lance
2.Speed
3.Strike
4.Blessing
5.Chain

lol i set my Icely up completely different

Speed
strike
lance
heal

I did the speed because at P it makes your wait time on skills 48% faster.
